About

What we do

Introductions and relationships

We bring together people and organisations with shared interests. We take time to understand what each side wants to achieve and where an introduction could lead to useful cooperation.

Events across the Gulf

Our events bring people together to discuss defence, regional security and industrial development. They provide space to share experience, ask difficult questions and build relationships through direct conversation.

Research and analysis

We publish research and analysis on defence, security and space, including issues that receive too little attention. We draw on practical experience, regional knowledge and specialist expertise to explain developments on the ground and what they mean for policy and industry.

Who we work with

We work with stakeholders across the Gulf and the wider MENA region, alongside those in the Five Eyes countries of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, and partners across Europe.

Our work brings together experience from the armed forces, diplomacy, public policy, industry and academia. We remain independent, form our own views and retain editorial independence in what we publish.

Our principles

Trust, discretion and accountability underpin our work.

We protect confidential information, respect our clients’ obligations and work within applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. We establish clear responsibilities at the outset of each engagement and maintain them throughout.

Working across countries and institutions requires sound judgment and respect for different perspectives. Our role is to support informed decisions and constructive dialogue, with a clear understanding of whose interests we represent and the responsibilities that come with each mandate.
